How are shares allotted
Shares are allotted when a company issues new shares in exchange for cash or otherwise. Such allotment of new shares increases the company’s share capital. You can add shares under your holding company by increasing the number of shares (i.e for both ordinary and preferred shares). This will increase the share capital of that company.
Note that approval needs to be given by all directors of the company to confirm the issuance of new shares to the company. You will be instructed how to arrange for such an approval.
